Samsung has released a new generation of AIPC GalaxyBook 4 Edge, designed for AI, with 45TOPS NPU's AI computing performance and cutting-edge hybrid AI, providing by far the most tightly connected mobile AI ecosystem. This series of notebooks are equipped with Snapdragon X Elite chip and 3K OLED screen. The notebook will be available in France, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States on June 18. The launch date of the Bank of China is not set.
Both notebooks are equipped with Snapdragon X Elite processors, with the Galaxy Book4 Edge 14 processor model X1E-80-100and the Edge 16 with the choice of X1E-80-100and the most frequent X1E-84-100. both processors are in a 4x8 core configuration. In the Geekbench running score website, the single core score of Snapdragon X1E-80-100is 2792, the polynucleus score is 14584, and Snapdragon X1E-84-100is unknown. Both machines are equipped with 16GB memory, Edge 14 only provides 512GB SSD, and Edge 16 has 512GB and 1TB options. Each of them is equipped with 55Slammer38500.9 Wh and 61.8 Wh batteries, using a 65W Type-C power adapter.
The Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge is available in 14-inch and 16-inch versions in sizes of 312.3 x 223.8 x 10.9mm and 355.4 x 250.4 x 12.3mm, respectively, with a body weight of about 1.16kg and 1.55kg and a sapphire color. The screen is a 16-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2880 × 1800 and a screen ratio of 16.Slammer38500: 10, the variable refresh rate of 120Hz VRR is supported, and the maximum brightness can reach 500nits when HDR is enabled. This screen covers 120% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and supports 10:00 multi-touch.
The C side of the Galaxy Book4 Edge 14ax 16 is equipped with a 1080p full HD camera, dual array microphones and four speakers (2 4W+2 x 2W speakers for Edge 14 and 2 5W+2 x 2W speakers for Edge 16). The body interface includes two USB 4.0ports, one HDMI 2.1interface (supporting 4K@60Hz), and one 3.5mm audio / microphone interface. The Edge 16 also comes with an additional USB 3.2interface and a microSD card reader.
