Tesla has been in a lot of trouble recently.

Tesla Chairman Robyn Denholm sold $17.3 million worth of Tesla shares, bringing the total sell-off this year to more than $50 million, according to filings disclosed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the evening of May 7 local time.

According to the documents, Robyn Denholm sold 11805 shares, 11281 shares, 16839 shares and 53780 shares of Tesla shares in four batches on May 6, local time, at a transaction price of 187 shares.Hardymarquislwt23.057 dollars, 186.362 dollars, 185.046 dollars, 184.004 dollars. The sale of Tesla shares has a total market capitalization of US $17.3223 million.

It is reported that Robyn Denholm joined Tesla's board of directors as an independent director in 2014 and became chairman four years later. The sale of Tesla shares is part of the so-called "10b5-1 plan" implemented last October.

Tesla fell 3.76% to $177.81 as of May 7, local time, with a latest market capitalization of $567.1 billion, according to Wind. Tesla's market capitalization lost about $22.2 billion, or about 160.3 billion yuan, overnight.

In addition to falling share prices and being sold by senior executives, Tesla has also had a lot of "trouble" recently.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) recently conducted an in-depth review of Tesla's autopilot assistance system (Autopilot) to determine whether its autopilot system has become safer after the company recalled 2 million cars for repair. On May 7, local time, NHTSA asked Tesla to provide key data, including the mileage of the autopilot system and the number of times the driver was reminded to hold the steering wheel, or face a fine of up to $135.8 million.

Tesla will suspend night shift production at his Glenhead plant on May 8 local time and resume night shift production on Sunday, local media reported, citing an internal memo sent to employees by Tesla. The move is due to protests against the expansion of the plant, which are expected to last for several days.
