The latest weekly export sales report released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture shows that in the week ending May 9, net sales of soybean meal in the United States in 2023/24 reached 300,400 tons, an increase of 44% from last week and compared with the average of the past four weeks. Compared with the average level, the increase is as high as 55%. At the same time, net sales of soybean meal in 2024/25 also increased to 31,100 tons, an increase from 19,200 tons in the previous week.

In Thursday's trading, trading volume in the benchmark period was estimated at 47,319 lots, down from 84,047 lots on the previous trading day. In terms of open volume, the data showed 225,391 lots, slightly lower than the 228,550 lots in the previous trading day.
